I really wanted to like this battle, it tries so hard and falls so short.
Some missions are particularly hard and the 8-9 craft FG's are a problem.
Maps are average but Officer questions and story is respectable except the two PLT names previously mentioned.
Would have been better with a little more work and balance.

This battle is a bag of mixed goods. On the one hand, even though you are flying in a TIE Defender, there is enough of a challenge there to put that to the test, on the other some of the ship orders or lack there of spoil it. The concept is good and the guy who made this is probably really smart but it feels rushed and unfinished. The briefing map and timing of messages is sub-par. All in all, on hard-mode this offers a decent test of skills. I do agree with Hav about the unfortunate naming of the platforms.

In mission 4, destroying two platforms named 'Hishima' and 'Nasaki' seems in poor taste. Otherwise, it's a straightforward is simple campaign.

The battle was pretty fun and there was only 1 really hard mission.

Gah this 1 is hard. The first mission opens up fairly interstingly and is a bit on the easy side, from then on it get's harder and harder especailly to get all the bonus gaols (not that that's a bad thing) but when your fighting for you own life and finding it difficult to complete the primary goals saving your wing mates is damn near imposible. They are fairly useless and are only there to draw fire form you if they arn't there then your in trouble. (I'm not a bad pilot but I won't say that I'm up there with the best of them but having to put it on medium so I can complete 1 mission is something I don't normally have to do. The battle and the stoy line are fun and keep your interest through out well worth flying. The craft names were imaganitive and I loved blowing up the Kamikazi Tie fighters (lol) Also on the final mission the X-wings are extremly difficult to stop from destroying the ATR... you have to know how to dumbfire 2 Advanced missile up the exahuts of the X-wings, It's rather irritating and it tkaes alot of practce b4 you can stop them

ISD Colossus is waiting for you where you will become a member of Eta squadron - the only assassination squadron in the whole fleet! After meeting your Squadron Commander you are a little bit nervous. It seems that he has prepared a simple test mission for you where you haver to burn your first real Target - a Rebel mechanic. ...
