That last mission, with the rebel fleet silhouetted against that giant red-orange star, was simply gorgeous. It's a moment that will stay with me.

This battle is a quick an mostly easy introduction to the V-Wing fighter. I have flown the V-Wing in TIE Fighter and XvT (I think?), but this felt like a proper introduction to the fighter. It would have been nice to have a final battle where you actually put the V-Wing through its paces.

Every Ender battle has at least one clever design moment, and that's true of this battle. However, I was frustrated by the GUN and the long distance between the player drop point and the targets in most missions. Chasing the SHU in the first and second mission was a fun challenge, but after that it became tedious. I know the GUN is integral to the story of Krayt Squadron, but I wonder if the targets had to be spaced so far away.

I knew as soon as I saw those stacked and rotated platforms that this must be an Ender mission—even though the goals were pretty straightforward. No issues completing these missions, and the missions were pretty standard and enjoyable.

This battle has straightforward missions with some tricky bits. One of my pet peeves is missions where you have to wait for a capital ship to hyper in after a set amount of time. This battle has two of those missions, which I found extra annoying because you're stuck in an unshielded experimental TIE trying to survive after you've completed the objectives. It's a challenge, but one of those missions would be enough for one battle.

After the first GWSOoM mission, I feel like I know this crew pretty well. They're not as much of a delivery team in this battle, but there's still a lot of waiting and hoping your friendlies will listen to your radio commands. Most of the missions were easier and more straightforward that this battle's predecessor, but a few moments still tripped me up, even with cheats enabled.

This was a challenging mission for the wrong reasons. Objectives were unclear and briefings were not much help. Most of my time was spent trying to figure out if the missions were bugged or if I had failed for some reason. Mission 6 crashed the first two times I tried it but finally loaded on the third try. Not sure what that was all about, but I'm sure it relates to the active bug report about the player craft. There was a cool moment in Mission 3 or 4 where you hyper right into the middle of the fray, right next to enemy cap ships. Also, the way the Citadel was positioned inside of the factory in the penultimate mission was very slick. If the bugs were fixed, this could be a solid battle.

This was a frustrating battle. First, it uses too many patches. There was a cool moment in Mission 4 where all of the cap ships were arranged in space like the opening scene of Revenge of the Sith, but they're mostly static and you have to fly around them to take out enemy cap ships, and that ruined the illusion. Like others have said, it's hard to distinguish between friendly ships and enemy ships, and I found myself tabbing through targets in the CMD to get the information informing me if they were enemy or friendly. I didn't think it was as bad as some others have reviewed it, but still not great.

This is my kind of battle: quick and simple. That being said, the missions were possibly too simple for more than FCHG points, and if there was a cohesive storyline, then I missed it.

This is a really unique battle with a mix of easy and difficult missions. I had a particularly difficult time with Mission 4. Those Ace AI countermeasure-equipped Z-95s with Mag Pulses were too much for me. It took me almost 30 tries to finally beat it, and then it was more down to luck and friendly AI than skill.

Marek Ny`Irfa was exactly right in his review. On one hand, it's cool to spend a whole campaign in one area with the same cap ship situation, but it would be better if the mission design limited your options to derail the story. This battle does that better than most. My only issue with this battle is the mines. I can't stand mines! Thankfully, you only have to do official mineclearing duty in the last mission.

Like others have said before, this is a classic battle in a classic unshielded TIE. The missions are simple and balanced and provided a fun challenge on the hard difficulty setting. The briefings are great and the post-failure hints are useful and specific.

The missions were OK. Nothing special, and after a while they started to seem the same. It was fun hunting down the MC90s in two separate missions, even though that was a little repetitive.

This battle is a simple idea executed well. I like simple missions with cohesive stories, and this fit the bill. Like other reviewers, I wasn't thrilled about working with the RS, but the storyline made sense, at least. Blowing up the PLT in the last mission was a nice catharsis, even if I couldn't get there in time to help with the destruction.

This battle was full of repetitive and boringly similar missions. Flying the Interdictor was a fun change of pace, but even that was very simple. Knowing the backstory might help, but still, there's no reason to fly this mission beyond the FCHG points (or to get your kicks flying the INT).

This battle is needlessly complex and frustrating for that reason. The scope is impressive, but there is no point for this scope. You often attack separate forces on areas of the 'map' that are far apart for no good reason. Lots of time spent travelling from one area, facing waves of meager fighters, to another area in the same region facing more waves of meager fighters.

As a collection of unrelated missions, it's OK. The first three go together well, but the last one is completely unrelated. That last mission is enough to lower my rating significantly. There's no need to have T/Is hyper to different regions, and flying an unshielded, hyper-equipped T/I against shielded T/Is seems unfair. And 10 waves of said shielded T/Is is too much.

This was a fun battle with lots of opportunities to blow up fighters and medium-sized ships. After seeing the massing NR fleet in the penultimate battle—and the huge EH strike force ready to pounce in the final battle—it was a letdown to miss the big action in the last battle. It would have been nice to have one more battle where you hyper in and get to see those ISDs take on the CRSs. Bonus points for craft consistency. You get to fly the TIE Advanced (Ew, did Stryker call it the 'TIE Avenger'?) for all of the missions.

The idea behind this battle was fun, and the missions were fun for the most part, but the design was lazy and had flaws. Reading the same victory report for 4 of the 5 missions was annoying, and the use of the guided missile TIE as a recon ship was out of character (but I guess an interesting application). Also, there's no need to call the player 'Idiot' just because he failed the mission objectives. Very juvenile.

After flying HA Striker's XWA-TC 17 battle, I was dreading flying his other creations. However, this battle is a set of straightforward training missions with a minor and interesting plot. The battle reminds me of the early missions in TIE Fighter. However, I'm not sure if anyone downloading custom missions for XWA needs a primer of this nature.

This battle was challenging, even with invincibility and unlimited ammo. I'm not sure how you would complete the last mission without the latter. It was fun to take on an enemy SSD in the penultimate mission and cool (if not totally necessary) to see the Sov in the last mission.

Aside from some long waits and some slightly-too-large waves of craft to destroy, this was a fun battle to blast through for FCHG points. I agree with Stryker that canon/legends characters detract from the story. Also, this battle had a little bit of that 'Didn't I just blow that up in the last mission?' problem.

This is my kind of battle, for the most part. The first four missions are straightforward and quick and dirty. The last one is trickier but still pretty simple. Nothing confusing or hard to figure out in these missions.

This battle is a collection of quick, simple missions in a TIE/ln. They remind me of the training missions in TIE Fighter, and that's a good thing. SPOILER ALERT: I'm not sure why the old EH was so fond of cookie jokes, but that's the case here. The silly, poorly-aging plot doesn't detract from the missions, which are fun in the shield-less TIE.

This battle is incredible. I have many memories from flying TIE Corps battles, but none are as indelible as a mass of TUGS flying at me. The missions were fun, funny, and challenging, and I had a blast following the plot.
