I enjoyed this battle.
Was a little confused about what was going on, but i enjoyed trying to protect everything and blowing up transports.
Wav pack is a nice touch.

I think it's a fun free that actually does a pretty good job of telling a story (however wacky it may be) - just wish some of the conditions/objectives were a little more clearly laid out (clear all the freighters in Zone 2 with bonus points for helping protect the initial transport if you can, that opens the hyper point to Zone 3, clear all the enemy freighters there to open up Zone 4, disable the Rebel transport in Zone 4, then disable the fighter that launches and don't use your missiles)

An excellent free mission. With some twisting plots and easy yet immersive and fun dogfighting. An excellent example of a 3 step mission which has it all, disabling, space superiority, escorting and cap ship bashing. and all this while flying the fabulous Space Mustang, aka the TIE Defender. Not to be missed, this one.

Okay this mission proves to be far more challenging than it initially looks it will be. There's not that many, but pretty difficult targets to fend off and some events you have to pay attention to in order not to fail. It might take a few repeats to learn them all. Oh and if you wonder if the T/F (A-9 wannabe) can survive a missile hit to take its shields down... No, it cannot. Lesson learned here the hard way. While I didn't appreciate somewhat goofy plot this mission offers very much, it's still a solid one and worth to fly.

I really liked this mission. It's humour based and still provides some decent combat. I recommend it to everyone.

But one of the most famous of all is the infamous Pink Star Book of Tau Commander, General Kaerner. Many have wanted their name in it. Many more wish it had never been put in that, that, that book! Its contents and the legends whose names have been placed in their long have been a mystery. If some of the Higher ups in the Emperors Hammer ever knew, or admitted, what had been placed upon its pages heads may have rolled long ago. But its mere presences, and its hiding place maybe the only reason General Kaerner has never meet “Bob” the Airlock! Its location is, or should I say, WAS his closest guarded secret! Now the unthinkable has happened! IT HAS BEEN STOLEN! Can General Kaerner survive the release of the information in the Pink Star Book? Can the people whose name appears in the Pink Star Book survive the release of the information? Can the Universe survive the release of the information in the Pink Star Book? I just don’t know. The fate of the entire Universe may rest in your hands today Pilot. Are you up to the task? Do you think you have what it takes? If so, read on. If not, your best bet is to find the deepest darkest hole on the most remote planet you can find, and no you can’t use my house, and hide. Hide there and hope, hope you will survive! Because the Universe may not. (And yes, Kaerner really does have a Pink Star Book. His Pink (Suckup) Star Book, most did not want a pink Star by their name. And his best friend did confirm the book itself was pink.) You’re lying in bed, sound asleep when your door burst open and two Stormtroopers step in. “The Grand Master wants you, NOW!” one of them says. After a very hectic and disturbing shuttle flight, it almost looked as if Imperial ships were firing on each other, you step into the Avengers main conference room. Seated at the head of the table is Grand Master Firefox, seated to his right is Sector Admiral Astatine and to his left is General Kaerner, Commanding Officer of Tau Squadron. The Grand Master starts right in. “The unthinkable has happened, General Kaerner’s Pink Star Book has been stolen!” You hear several gasp around the room; the Grand Master silences them with a dark look. “There are certain things in that book about high placed Emperors Hammer members in there that must never reach the light of day. If the information were disclosed, this part of the galaxy could be rocked to its very foundation!” he continues “As you may have noticed on the way over chaos has already reared it’s ugly head, rumors are flying all over the Imperial territory, there is actual open fighting going on as we speak! Every ship entering or leaving the Aurora system is being openly attacked in search of the Pink Star Book, this must STOP! Individuals and factions of the Dark Brotherhood, the Tie Corps and ALL subgroups of the EH have abandoned there post in search of this book. Some rumors have said the Rebels, Smugglers and even Bounty Hunters have started searching also!” he heaves a heavy sigh before he continues “We have traced the thief so far to the Phare System. You are to leave immediately! A special ship is already being prepared for you at this moment in my personal hanger. We are all counting on you to find this thief and return the Pink Star Book to General Kaerner before open war breaks out over this. Our Intelligence says just about everyone in this section of the Galaxy is looking for it, so we are trying to keep the trail we have uncovered so far to ourselves, so you are being sent out alone as to not draw attention. Help well be provided if you get into trouble, but it will be kept small also. Your designation is Pink Hunter. We are all counting on you; the fate of the Universe may well rest in you hands. Good luck!” As you start to ask a question General Karner jumps up and shouts, “Don’t just stand their man, get my Pink Star Book back, NOW!” As you walk out you see Firefox and Astatine just sitting their shaking there heads. As you rush to your ship a million and one things go through your mind, but the main one is “I’M IN THAT PINK STAR BOOK!” And so the Adventure begins! +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Tie Corps Domain - http://www.tiecorps.org/ | | Emperor's Hammer Battle Center - http://www.tiecorps.org/battles | | | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ THIS LEVEL IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY.
