Not as terrible as everyone is making out but then again i smashed through it as fast as possible.
It has briefings and officers that work - but light info.
Story is minimal and mission design is terrible.
Craft are used poorly. Fly once and never look back.
It's not as unplayable as the reviews suggest, but it is very, very dumb. You may never see a more ineffective use of Missile Boats than in Mission #2, when you will (quite easily) protect a single Frigate against 36 of them. A lot of poor design choices and highly questionable tactical choices throughout this battle.
one of the worst battles yet. i can only second what everybody else has said thus far. complete and utter nonsense.
This was not a good battle. I never in my life thought I'd have to kill so many missile boats, and couldn't have had a worse craft to do it in. If you have to do it, just play with unlimited warheads and get it over as quickly as possible.
Couldn't agree more. Why on earth would an Imperial frigate luanch unshielded craft without warheads and a single laser cannon (A-9) agains 35 enemy Missile Boats????
I don't reccomend flying this unless you have a blaster to your head;p.
Storyline ok, mission have been very poorly put together. fly only if really have too;

On Mission #5, the friendly FRG will crash into the enemy factory at about 2 minutes and 50 seconds, failing the mission if you haven't already destroyed the factory. While having one craft smash into another is a perfectly acceptable mission design, I don't think it's intentional in this case.
