Probably should be called "Janky B-Wing's Strike at Incom", considering you'll fly 4 out of the 5 missions in a B-Wing - which, while being my favorite Rebel ship, is not a very enjoyable experience in TIE Fighter with the ship patch. The last mission you'll fly an A-Wing with a double load of rockets for... reasons. The plot isn't really there, and yet, despite all the above, it's perfectly playable. Maybe the secondary/bonus goals aren't always done as well as they could be, but the creator put some real intent into after-action activities, which you don't always see. So I'll lean on the side of being kind on this one.

The missions have a fair amount of challenge and plenty of depth thanks to a generous helping of bonus goals throughout the battle.
My twelfth battle in the TIE Corps.

Missions are not too inspiring. And despite the idea of an over reaching story arch for the battle unfortunately there is no such thing.

This is a straightforward battle and easy as it gets. However the battle creator wanted to make things a bit difficult and sent you to destroy a convoy in an A-W, while also try to attain space superiority in the never-hit-anything fighter, the B-Wing, which shouldn't be called a fighter at all. Given these minor details an entertaining battle nevertheles.

I didn't like this one and finally decided to switch cheats (unlimited ammo and invuln) on because I just wasn't having a lot of fun. It just made little in universe sense and largely seemed to be a pain more than anything.
So in a lot of the missions you're in a B-Wing. I get it, it's a fan favorite of a ship and can do a lot of cool things. But the B-wing does present difficulties, some of which are beyond the control of the mission creator. 1.) the B-wing's laser cannons don't actually go where your crosshairs point. The B-wing in game fires blasters in a triangular pattern which makes them go basically at everything but what one is aiming at. The ion cannons go straight and therefore it is often a viable strategy to dogfight with the ion cannons. This goes in to 2.) It is hard to dogfight fighters like A-Wings in a B-wing.
In our first mission where we are defending a platform against attack from fighters including A-Wings we are sent out in a B-Wing. This means we get to putter around while the A-wings put on an air show and make us look stupid. It is unclear why in universe we are being sent out in B-wings in what appears to be an interceptor role. In the final mission, where we are going to attack a convoy, a perfect mission for a durable bomber type... we're in an A-Wing with Heavy Rockets. Which besides being unfun mechanically doesn't seem to make in-universe sense. There are some good ideas here but different ships would have improved it.

I'm made to dogfight in a B-W, and when i need to destroy a convoy u put me in an A-W. Only worth it for the FCHG Points.

An average battle. I find it hard to believe that it would be so long before the Empire punished Incom or that Incom only had one factory.

Not necessarily a bug but mission 4 (when the ATR captures the platform), there is no mission failure goal if the ATR is destroyed. This prevents you from completing the mission, recommend setting ATR must complete mission as a primary goal (failure if destroyed)

m1: Friendly A-Wings (Raven) start attacking player as soon as enemy B-Wings are destroyed
Maybe not a bug, but the debriefing text appears to be the same at the end of the first three missions
