Battle Reviews

VA Locke Setzer

It is about as bare bones a plot you can get and the missions are extremely vanilla... but that aside, it's a perfectly fine and enjoyable battle.

CM Benji Tandor

This is a straightforward, short battle with little plot.

My eleventh battle with the TIE Corps.

CM Nova Discordia

*Mostly* a very enjoyable series of missions, apart from the last one, which was just annoying in the very slim timings you needed to protect everything - it took me about four attempts to complete this mission even on easy, and that became really rather a chore in the end....

COL Phalk Sturm

Overall a solid battle, fun to fly. In last mission Z-95s are pouring and in Hard level, they could be a nuissance. You will fly almost every rebel crap fighters, so if you want to punish yourself, join the Infiltrators Wing.

LCM Ryan Hawkins

I personally really enjoyed this one. A good variety of my favorite Rebel craft to fly and the scenarios are tough but fair. In the final mission the Z-95s come in hot and aggressive on the vulnerable transports and time is extremely tight to stop them so at times it seemed a little frustrating and unfair, especially to a first time player. I prefer in mission design philosophy that even if it is your first time through you should not feel blindsided and that you should not have to predict the future or learn from a previous failure of the mission. War is not fair of course and bad luck, etc. will ruin even well laid plans but for mission and game design challenges should seem fair and repeating a mission for a somewhat unfair situation can be frustrating. That said, once I mastered what the mission wanted me to master there was some fun, excellent dogfighting. The Infiltrator Wing rides again!

CPT Alexi Stukov

Different kind of battle, but X-Wing Group Red never showed up.

VA Wlodek

He,He... Good Battle :D

All pilots must remember that they are flying for the Empire and they belong to the
Infiltrator Wing of the Emperor's Hammer Elite Strike Wing.

All Infiltrator and Emperor's Hammer IFF codes are set to Rebel IFF codes
(Green). And the Rebels have the Imperial IFF codes (red). This is the only way I know
how to do the mission. REMEMBER that all IFF codes are switched or backwards.

In this battle, the IW and elements of the EH must destroy the Rebel fleet that is
Harrassing civilians and Imperial shipping and citizens in this sector.

Our job is to eliminate this fleet and establish an Imperial base, so an Imperial
presence is felt in this part of the galaxy.

The IW with elements of the EH must destroy a Rebel FRG. and it's support
ships. There will be rebel fighters and SHU's. We need to clear this sector of a rebel

We got the FRG. but a SSD arrives and we must eliminate it as well. Then all
Rebel Capital ships in this sector, will be finished. Rebel fighters will be your opposition.

WE are to stand guard over Imperial FRT's that are bring the building materials for
the base. Watch out, the Rebels swear that a base will not be built here. They will try to
destroy the FRT's. The FRT's must survive.

We must protect the base until loyal Imperial troops and squadrons arrive to take
possession of the base. The rebels will try to get the Transports and Imperial fighters that
hyper in to occupy the base. The Imperial troops and fighters must take over the base.
