Interesting concept for a battle plot. No real bugs, and some challenge defending the shuttles in one of the missions. Overall, not bad!

I actually liked this battle. Most of times giving capships starfighter orders causes collisions, but sometimes it gives unique dynamic to missions. In this case, the latter happened. The last mission was extremely tough to achieve success, but it was really enjoyable watching the protected cruiser going after and hunting down attackers. Using wingmen was key to draw away enemy fire, which is not straightforward and you need to be lucky enough to have good chances to finish successfully. It looks like the last mission is a bit overplayed in terms of difficulty, but it was a great feeling to complete :)

Being the creator, it was my first ever battle and made a LONG time ago. I recently reflew the mission and decided that it is, in fact, TERRIBLE! Only the last mission is any good. It is rediculously difficult and badly put together. I wish I could remove it and re-do the whole thing. It's in serious need of a work over.

Not a particularly good battle.. one mission has you trying to protect a carrack from two FRG's with [starfighter] attack orders, another a Shuttle from 3x2 Y-wings with no intercept distance, yet another a CRL @ 50% sheilds from a range of attackers including 3x3 CRV's with attack orders.. Basically, it bites and make you wonder what the creator was on at the time, there are much better battles around.

A New Ally This battle is based upon the idea that the Empire is in a poor state following the fall of the Emperor, and even Coruscant (an idea taken from the 'X wing' series of novels). The opportunity arrises for a new ally to be gained in the fight against the Rebels, a pirate band under attack by the Rebels. MISSION 1 Protect an isolated rim sector space platform, the last vestiges of Imperial control in this sector. A Strong Rebel assult force will arrive, an unusually strong force for such a secluded outpost. MISSION 2 Inspect two Rebel frigates who have recently jumped in to the sector. Then, make an attack run on each. But all is not as it seems... MISSION 3 Rondezvous with a pirate leader to arrange a treaty against the Rebels. Fight off a Rebel attempt to prevent this meeting. MISSION 4 Meet with pirate forces to complete the pact. Fight off a last ditch attempt by the Rebels to stop the new alliance. Mission 5 Fly to the aid of our New allies to defend them against a Rebel raid, and show in actions what is now a signed alliance!
