An enjoyable mission - not over complicated, and you have plenty of support, so on medium setting, at least, this was an easy one to complete.

Easy mission on hard. Plenty of rockets for the cruiser, plenty of missiles for the fighters. The TIE/d wingmen were too far out to “detect” the enemy fighters and didn’t engage, but the 3 MIS wingmen were sufficient backup.

A seemingly basic mission which has some subtle meta-aspects if you're chasing the high score in terms of minimising lasers and maximising warhead points. Let down by a few arrival condition bugs for the in-flight messages. You can risk going SLAM all the way to the CRS at the start, preventing it from activating, but if you do you'll be in range of the A-Wings and out of all laser and shield energy. A nice tightrope to walk

The backstory to the mission was honestly pretty cool. It seemed realistic enough, and I like the premise of using a repair ship as a time constraint. The Missile boat is basically able to single handedly take out the Independence, since 20 Heavy rockets is no joke. Overall, pretty fun mission in the missile boat.

This was a very straightforward missile boat mission. Kill some fighters, kill a cap ship. It was not particularly interesting but was not bad. There were no bugs and overall I had fun as it was short and to the point. But nothing special.

Absolutely no map briefing. The officer briefing contained some light information. This is clearly designed around current squadron lore which is no longer passed down in the EHTC. The mission was fairly simple. Start of 20 klicks away from the target, deal with the waves of fighters as you make your way to the target to destroy. Simple, not very challenging. The missile boat just chews through the enemies.

Nice and quick little missle practice. Taking out a cruiser and some fighters is no real chellange for the Advanced Missle Boat. But hey, it is fun. Play it if you need it for a competition.

It's somewhere between a 2 and a 3. I only enjoyed it somewhat because you get to fly in a Missile Boat. The mission itself is nothing spectacular and unless you send the troops home, even on hard you will simply overwhelm them and destroy them. You have two flights of AI T/Ds protecting you and three more M/S on your flight. A bit of an overkill... Also, the Calamari is not shooting back. If the hyperdrive is damaged, it can still use its turbo lasers.

A simple and straight-forward mission. The briefing is not a serious one, but detail isn’t necessary to complete this mission, all you have to do is destroy the cruiser. Again, a simple mission, but an okay mission to fly nonetheless.

I don't know why do people say it's a bad mission. It even says it in the briefing: "This will be a simple mission".

The briefing is short but funny, the mission is short and not frustrating at all, 100% perfect for R&R.

So the briefing is lackluster etc. When compared to #129 this thing is great. You go out do what you're told and come back. No jokes or tricks.

Just thought to say in reply to the comments to my mission. The mission is built as an add on or really a hommage to a truly great story written by my old CMDR, Kyle Kessler. Nothing more or nothing less...

Boring! Just destroy a cruiser and your done. Not even a plot or decent briefing! Where is everybody's creativity and imagination. If I wanted a standard mission that came from a mold, I would continue flying the missions that came with TIE. I'm sure the Colonel can try harder than this.

good misson. just two things keeps it from making it into a 5. 1.The fighters was easy to destroy on hard. 2. the Capitial ship never fires back. but from that a good misson.

This was one of the worst FM's I've ever flown. Destroy a cap ship and a couple of fighters...and that's it! I recommend this FM if you want a quick FCHG point.
