I do loves me a good MIS heavy battle where the objective is to blow ship up. This checked that box.


I enjoyed this battle. Its short, sweet and you get to blow things up.
Can be done fast. Briefings are great.


I really enjoyed this one. A solid story. The difficulty level rose appropriately with each successive mission. There was also good variety of objectives from mission to mission.


The battle was well designed, but the dogfighting of A-Wings while piloting a Missile Boat made me want to dropkick my monitor while setting fire to my PC at the same time.

"Kill 'em all".

Premise: Imperial-class Star Destroyer Colossus has been assigned a new task. The Colossus is to secure the area of shipyard station located on the border of space controlled by Emperor's Hammer. Just after arrival, communication systems on the Colossus failed, and the starship is forced to use an external Comm Sat to stablish a link with Command center.

Mission 1:
Player is flying a TIE Advanced from Nu squadron, first flight. It is supposed to be a standard patrol aroud the facility until a Rebel A-Wing recon group shows up. A few seconds later, Rebel starfighters destroy Comm Sat, the only way of communication for Colossus.
Soon after the A-Wings' attack, a Rebel assault group arrives.

Primary Objectives:
At least one of protected X/7 Factories must survive.
ISD Colossus must survive.
All A-Wings from group Recon must be destroyed.
All B-Wings from groups Red I and Red II must be destroyed.

Secondary Goals:
All X/7 Factories must survive.
All X-Wings from groups Steel I and Steel II must be destroyed.

Mission 2:
Two hours after first strike ISD Colossus' sensors detect a hyperspace anomaly. It is almost certain to be one or more starships emerging from the hyperspace. Technicians in the shipyard are trying to make the two constructed starships operational ASAP. The player will fly a Missile Boat from the 2nd flight in Nu Squadron, armed with heavy rockets to take down enemy capital ships. Soon after the mission's start, the Carrack Cruiser Hazaard has an engine malfunction and crashes into one of shipyards. A few seconds later, a small Rebel fleet exits from hyperspace.

Primary Objectives:
At least one of X/7 factories must survive.
ISD Colossus must survive.
Nebulon-B Frigate Republic must be destroyed.
All Corellian Corvettes from group RoadRunner must be destroyed.
All B-Wings designted "Gold" must be destroyed.

Secondary Goals:
X/7 Factories "Shipyard A" and "Shipyard B" must survive.
Nebulon-B Frigate Imperator must survive.
All X-Wings from flightgroup Red must be destroyed.

Mission 3:
A few minutes after the players return from mission 2, slower and bigger Rebel capital ships enter the area. The Rebel fleet consists of one Calamari Cruiser and 3 Nebulon-B Frigates, with fighter cover. Fortunately, technicians managed to repair the communication systems on the Colossus, and the ISD Immortal has been contacted. Also, the Nebulon-B Imperator is operational. The player will fly a Missile Boat from flight group Nu 3.

Primary Objectives:
At least one X/7 Factory must survive.
ISD Colossus must survive.
ISD Immortal must arrive.
Calamari Cruiser Enterprise must be destroyed.
3 Nebulon-B Frigates Duty, Obligation and Wisdom must be destroyed.

Secondary Goals:
All B-Wings from group Gold must be destroyed.
All A-Wings from group Blue must be destroyed.
All X-Wings from group Red must be destroyed.

Mission 4:
After the Immortal's arrival, the Colossus has been released from the area - BGCOM Theodore has given the starship new orders. Colossus is to execute an act of retaliation on a nearby Rebel shipyard. Nu squadron will lead the attack.

Primary Objectives:
All X/7 Factories from group Shipyard must be destroyed.

Secondary Goal:
Light Calamari Unicorn must be destroyed.
Nebulon-B Frigate Redeemer must be destroyed.
All corvettes from group Truth must be destroyed.
All A-Wings from group Patrol must be destroyed.

Medal: (Proposed name) Medal of Protection.
