A very close take on what week of war feels like these days. You get to watch everyone do the killing and you might do some killing yourself, or be the one getting killed. Easy missions to play through, its like a historic snapshot of club vs club play

Okay series of missions, but they were all the same. Easy to complete (at least on easy setting) as you have lots of wing men. Weird set of missions though. Felt very unfinished and just copied over.

It's all copy/paste, same thing different day. There are too many ships in an isolated area. Because the armies are comprised of all the same kinds of ships, it's also impossible to determine what is an enemy vs friendly unless they are selected. Most of the time, the exceesive amounts of wingmates gets to a ship before I can even get it in mysites. Not must fun, unless maybe to blow off some steam.

Copy-paste job of skirmish match mode with some loosely draped storyline, which is then made redundant by 2000's netspeak comms messages about GG, lag and the ilk. Little thought gone into this (why are there fighters that no hyperdrive capability, when there isn't a mothership for them, leading to them spinning in a circle close to each other with no option for a return), only getting its extra 1 point due to letting you fly the TIE/LN.

Yes, repetitive simple missions, but a great series either for points or for honing your dogfighting skills. Will certainly try again :)

So I basically played the same mission 8 times here because that is how this is designed. It is meant to be similar to multiplayer games, which I find an interesting concept that doesn't quite hit the MP gameplay style on the mark. As long as your shift + a buttons work you'll have no problem flying through this battle set.

I get what it's trying to do. It just gets a bit repetitive, though it is somewhat enjoyable :D I want to try it again on hard and see where the high score stands on this one.

In the days when Ventrilo was the new hotness on the block, I had a friend who was an aspiring fiction writer. Specifically, furry erotic fan fiction. But see, here's the thing--she was a BIG DEAL in the furry erotic fan fiction community, and so it was a honor to get a cameo appearance. Boy, that sure made me proud, to know that my name was immortalized as a background character when anthropomorphic creatures were making lovey-dovey eyes at each other. This mission set is the erotic furry fan-fiction of XvT. I'm sure people were happy to get their name included in this set--either that, or they didn't have a choice in their cameo and didn't really care. Who knows? By the way, my friend the author made some very good money writing commissions in the years to come.

This is a very straightforward battle: each of the eight plays through a scenario from some distant Week of War. It's thin on storyline, but it's great if you want to destroy a ton of Rebel and Imperial ships. No surprises here, but I had fun.

A fun little romp that gives a slight taste for what Week of War is all about. All out dogfighting. It's not the same, obviously, and I think the amount of EH bots could have been toned down a bit to give you time to get on target. But all in all, quite fun!

Fast and furious. This battle depicts what it feels like to take part in the WoW of back in the day. The dialogue, the facts recollection, the whole thing was just perfect. If you want to have a Multiplayer XvT experience in Single Player, then this is your battle.

I don't mind the premise, over the years it's nice that we've accumulated so many battles related to events or notable competitions. It gets points for being quick FCHG and some good messages, but is ultimately too repetitive.

A little repetitive, good for shooting practice,finger ready in trigger. Argument not so creative and sometime not so good balanced; too many Imperial for few enemies.

A boring mission where your only wish is for it to end fast. I don't give it a 0 because of the variety of flight groups and spacecraft to choose from, and because Ender bothered to make sure that flights engage other flights with the same spacecraft in order to make it more WoW like. The only thing I enjoyed was flying the Z95 when everybody else was flying something better and I was just there trying to help out. I understand the desire to recreate a real event on a battle, but please use better events when you think about it.

Dogfighting. Endless dogfighting. Don't get me wrong, I love a good dogfight, but EIGHT practically identical missions gets to be a little much. Nice job trying to fit a storyline on the WoW and putting in "destroying the buoy" and "reporting to BSC" actions, but MP does not translate to SP well, as this battle shows.
