The attempts at humor in the briefings go over my head at detract from the any feeling of immersion in the missions. In the readme it reveals that this battle is part of the author's character back-story, which is a nice touch. However, this battle is plagued by poor design elements and lack of polish. The difficulty modes are not balanced and there are some goals which are essentially unattainable given the time constraints. It's a pity, because I think this battle has real potential, just not in its current form.

As is often the case, when a battle is praised for being 'funny', it's a sign that the battle is otherwise poorly made. This is very much the case here, with unclear goals, elements of design that just suck - such as the Daedalus not firing at its attackers in M1, and poor choice of warheads. There is one mission, for example, where you need to attack a capital ship, but you're assigned advanced missiles by default.

This battle was quite a bit of fun to fly. While the majority of it revolves around dogfighting, there are a few other objectives and ways to go about completing the battles. I thought the storyline was pretty good and well written. I didn't encounter any bugs.

This battle has it all! Humour, action, a real challenge, you name it! I really loved it and I can't wait to try the sequel.

This is a fun battle with some interesting missions and funny briefings, provided that you can make it past the first mission without destroying your joystick. I played that mission for several hours last night and 30 minutes this morning and finally beat it. I then raced through the rest of the missions with little difficulty. That’s kind of a poor way to organize the difficulty in a battle. Difficulty should increase as the battle goes along, not decrease. The hardest mission should be at the end so that pilots who have worked really hard to reach the end will want to finish, if for no other reason that to see their work finished. Having the first mission being so difficult will just turn folks away. Still, I recommend it, but I warn the player to be aware of that first step so to speak. I give it a 4.30 (rounded down to a 4 for purposes of the EH review scale.)

It provides something of a glimpse into the back story and history of my character, as well as MAJ Yutzka Serovich and LT Hyuga Seithen. THE SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL From the beginning of space travel, Corellian pilots were in demand. They were the best in the galaxy, and for a good reason. They were the best-trained in the galaxy. These piloting schools were the source of a great many legends. However, when the Empire was brought into being, many of these schools were shut down. The few that remained were commandeered by Imperial personnel in order to augment their standard training platforms. The Empire's elite squadrons learned their maneuvers from these schools. One such school began to go under financially due to the new Imperial leadership. Black Sun criminals swiftly snatched up the ownership to it. It was a home and school to quite a few aspiring Corellian teenagers, including Daisuke Airyu, Yutzka Serovich, Hyuga Seithen, and Gangus Quicksteel. In an almost random assault, Black Sun forces attempted a raid on the platform Daedalus, incurring the wrath of the mighty Emperor's Hammer. EH Intel was able to hunt down the exact location of the school. COL NiksaVel led his Avenger Squadron in the assault. During the confusion, the four cadets escaped the doomed base in stolen Z-95 Headhunters. Using coordinates from the elite squad, the defecting cadets entered hyperspace, only to find themselves pulled out by a New Republic ambush. When Avenger Squadron, a few minutes behind, made their jump, they destroyed the NR interdictor and its accompanying cruiser and fighter escorts. From here, the four cadets joined the Emperor's Hammer. Want more story?
