Battle Reviews

Very simple to complete primary objectives, which actually I really like. Certainly will play again to look at getting a higher score. Worth a play-through.

The primary mission can be completed easily without much effort, while the secondary goals mostly consist of lasering down cap ships. Fine for a quick FCHG point, not so great for a compelling mission.

This mission is a hot mess, I have no idea what is supposed to be going on here from either a plot perspective or gameplay implementation. Rando's comments are on point. There is supposedly some type of new alliance between the EH and some other faction. A different alliance made of rebels and others ("CSA") then attacks. Things go downhill here. A collection of assorted faction fighters begin spawning out of a... friendly container transport? Meanwhile your forces are surrounded on three sides by capitals from the enemy faction. However, they don't do much except lumber along. No bombers to speak of to help with them.

The only plus? The primary objective takes about 60 seconds to complete.

Fast and easy single point of FCHG I have ever earnt. After that the mission gets a bit more interesting with some alphabets and rebels showing up. In the end, it's very much the usual kill kill kill concept. Word of praise, however, goes for the names 'Sabrewulf', 'Ultima', it almost made me cry in nostalgia. The group of CNTRS named 'Peron' is inevitably going to attract the attention of anyone from Argentina.

This one has everything that makes a mission bad. Ships doing weird dancing on the spot and/or crashing into each other, craft not able to enter a ship's hangar and endlessly going in circles instead, wrongly set motherships which lead to funny effects, like: You can enter a rebel ships' hangar. ALL fighters in the mission, hostile as well as imp, enter from a neutral Modular Conveyor. And some rebel FG don't arrive at all as they have NO mothership, hence the bonus goals are uncompletable. Plus we hardly get any storyline and also never find out who the enemy is. I'd say this mission was laughable, but actually I didn't laugh much. My advice: Complete the primary goals (just inspection) which is done in a minute, then quit and don't look back.

Way too easy. And what's up with sending B-wings against Tie Defenders? Watching an ISD destroy a frigate by shooting advanced missiles at it was weird.

No background info on enemy. Weird PLTs in this mission. They had only two landing platforms instead of three. They missing one wasn't just invisible, because I could fly through where it was supposed to be! The primary goals are very easy, but the secondary are more difficult and time consuming.

Frigate Parole is an enemy ship, but the player can dock with it. In fact, your wingmen will fly to it if it's the closest ship when you tell them to go home. CNVYR Safixin will just fly below one of the ISDs, with orders constantly switching between "entering hangar" and "going home". Destroyers Vastator and Saberwulf will end up mixed up in some kind of dance where they just roll around attached to each other. I lost one of my wingman while he entered the hangar of one of the destroyers.
