Battle Reviews

Suer quick mission! Primary and secondary goals I got done in under three minutes, followed by a nice little dogfight against some z-95's. Most enjoyable.

I would probably be more okay with a quickie-inspection mission that can be done super fast as part of a battle; not feeling it as a free.

took about a minutes. quickest mission I have ever played. fantastic.

This is a weird one, it's just not balanced for any challenge. The enemies arrive piecemeal , and only after you've actually won the mission by inspecting some transports. You have more wingmen than you need and there's just something wrong about a flightgroup of 6 system patrol craft. Could be quick for spam though.

A standard mission about inspecting TRNs and sinking everything else. Not much of a challenge, but it was a good amount of fun to mercilessly bash those poor souls in Z95s and X-Ws. The SPCs were a nice addition. In a nutshell: "Grind them down in your T/A". Overall, a mission that does not excel in any area, but gets the job done with some fast deliverance of imperial might and this never grows old.

Very easy on hard. Inspect the transports, then kill everything that shows up. Having 5 wingmen makes this a breeze. Accelerate time after killing the X-wings for the secret objective.

This was a lame duck. The AI level of the enemies is too low. Those Z95s were pillow fighting just waiting for you to pick them off, one by one. The platform was never in any real danger. The only tricky part is getting to every transport on time. Once you complete the primary and secondary objectives, including killing the X-wings, wait for a few seconds, there is a desert coming up.

Seems to be a continuation of the prior Pif #1, at least in terms of who the enemy is. It is a simple enough mission to complete even on hard (and relatively quick): ID some ships, deal with ones that need dealing with. Overall, not bad - there are some little nuggets in there where the maker put in a bit of thought.

This could be a candidate for one of the easiest missions that actually requires you to do something. Unlike some other missions, you can't just time accelerate and fly off into deep space. The primary goal is ridiculously simple, basic inspection duty, and can be completed within a few minutes, even at a leisurely pace. Everything about this mission has been designed to make it as easy as possible. You're given an unusually large number of wingmen, who aren't really necessary. There are some waves of fighters, but their skill level is so low that they're unlikely to pose a threat, even to a rookie pilot. I didn't see much plot, and the briefing is pretty bare. There's exactly one primary, secondary, and bonus goal. It's bug free, which is a plus. I can't call this good, but it's not bad either. My main criticism is really its complete lack of difficulty, which makes it seem rather pointless. Quick to fly if that's your thing, but there's nothing interesting here.

Good mission. I like The Continuing Plot theme as well

No background info on enemy. Search and destroy mission with emphasis on "search." Also see my review for FREETIE #70.
