Extremely simple battle, with the most basic missions that can be imagined with zero inspiration and a really bad balance in difficulties. Advance missiles from all enemy ships on easy, really? The 200% shielded T/A in these mission are one shotted by those over and over, which I could expect on medium and hard, but definitely not on easy.
Nevertheless, your involvement in this battle seems irrelevant as the AI does everything for you. You can sit back, relax, and see how the New Republic crumbles before your eyes in a snap of your fingers, as some of the most prominent figures of the NR get killed or captured in the four missions. Rated one because the author at least let Luke and Leia live and because the missions just work, but definitely not worth investing any time on them.

Okay this is a bit over the top reaching into cannon characters and assassinating them. Sure, it is a nice idea, but not sure if we should be claiming credit for these kills in our canon. Enjoyable missions, they build up on each other a little bit too and they all share a similar concept. Not really long or anything, but not too short either. Good size and good fun.

Well, nothing great really. It throws a few important Rebellion names that you get to do away with as any proper Imperial should want to do, but the missions themselves are nothing special.

Not worth spending your time this one. It's not that it is unflyable or poorly made, but it feels like the same concept that should be avoided every time. Without a decent plotline, most of the battles in the Compendium are the usual go and kill rebels. But, seriously, killing Mon Mothma, Wedge Antilles and Lt. Page? And also the missions were far from entertaining. Only good for snatching 4 points of FCHG rate. Fly elsewhere.

I played on Easy. I don't think this is is better than most missions I give a score of 3 to but I don't think it deserves a 4. I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. It has a decent story but the missions themselves are lackluster. They amount to killing big swarms of starfighters and not much else. Also, Mission 2 is brutal. The capital ships all fire missiles at you that are capable of killing you in one shot. I think I lost 4 fighters in quick succession due to the missile spam.

Good idea but execution could have been a bit more precise. Some bits were challenging, obviously I am talkin about the capital ships firing dual adv missles at you constantly - recommendation is to clearly take those out. Fighter AI was a bit on the low side in my opinion - you're given a lot of firepower options so taking down those cruisers isnt as hard of a task as it should be.

I really like the mission and it was very fun to play. The story line was fabulous and if I had no problems when running mission 2(it's working now) this mission would of gotten 5 great work MAJ Tainer

Loved this battle especially mission 2 where i flew between a crossfire with a ISD & a Mon Cal twice! hehe idiot ships were supposed to be hitting me.
