Boring and tedious. The mission itself is well crafted, but the problem is not the technical skill but the lack of total interest in flying a 20 minute long mission that provides you to be a Torpedo Sphere, since there are literally over 40 capital ships and platforms to destroy. Unless you want to improve dumb firing capabilities, steer away from this one. Pointless and plain boring.

This mission is a borefest. Lazily put together. It will take you a long time to bring all those capital ships down. Also as a story it doesn't make sense as a handful of Xwings try to take on an entire fleet, not because they run into it by mistake but as their primary briefing goal. This mission checks out all the boxes of what not to do in a mission. No immersion, boring gameplay, nor is of dying or losing. Just waste a lot of time trying to laser down capital ships (or run back home and get more rockets). Both equally boring. Avoid it like the plague unless you want to try out for the high score.

I'm afraid this mission was rather dull. First of all the plot seemed to be "Destroy the Rebels because they're there." A good cause, maybe, but uninteresting. Second, there were just too many enemy capships, but there wasn't enough firepower to take them all down. A few more friendly bombers were desperately needed. Even after switching to unlimited ammo after getting bored, I still sat around for a good 20 minutes before they were all destroyed. Boring and not well-balanced.

Well made mission with lots of stuff to do. It has so much though, that with a little work this could easily have been a four mission battle.

IW: Wipeout Rebel convoy. Grand Admiral Ronin looked at his window, he saw a very bright star, very small, but its light was very strong. A small point in a space. And space is infinity... He was looking and he thought that Emperor's Hammer could be like this star. Very strong, but small instead. But he then realised that Emperor's Hammer is not so small and not so strong too. He was angry about that, so angry that he broke his favorite glass with favorite brendy. - I must destroy this Rebels, once for all. - he thought. And then someone knocked to his door. - Come in, please. And he saw not very tall officer from Inteligence Office. - Sir, we've got something you might want to know. - officer said with fear of reaction of his commander. - Yes, I'm listening. What is so important to disturb me? - Ronin said with little anger. - Sir, I don't want to distrub you, but we recive report about large supplies convoy for Rebels. It's carrying a lot of weapons and other military stuff. - That's interesting. And he reminded this little star, and hate to Rebels, and fear of his Empire... - We must act fast. - Ronin said - We can use Infiltrator Wing. They are closer convoy than we are. - That's right, we can use them, but they are needed in some others regions too - officer said. - What? - Sir... I've got idea. Let's use only the best pilots in Infiltrator Wing and others can do what they must. We will be sure that everyone will succes thier missions. - What do you suggest? - Some time ago Black Squadron was titles Lords of the Fear, they also could be titled Lords of the Infiltrator. I think they can handle this mission, they are very amibicious, they work hard! - officer said with a lot of enthusiasm for Black Squadron and their achievements. - So be it. - Ronin agreed with officer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Into Vice Admiral NiskaVel walked intligence officer with order from Ronin. - What? I must sacrifice my best pilots? - NiskaVel said with anger. - Calm down, sir. I believe that they will succes this mission. - Calm down? We far behind enemy lines! Do you know what this means? - Yes, sir, a lot of work. But Grand Admiral Ronin and I believe in succes of this mission. - officer said. - Ok, I know I have no choice, but follow orders. I will send Black Squadron to Cruiser Dependence. They will start thier mission from there. - Dependence? I thought they was destroyed in the last battle. - Almost, it was burning but somehow it didn't blow up. Yesterday it was repaired. - I see... - said officer with curious. - But it has only one squadron onboard... And this squadron has important mission too. I must send only Black Squadron, becaouse they cannot count on help from CRS Dependance. - Yes, sir. And then with smile, officer walked out form Vice Admiral NiskaVel office. NiskaVel wasn't very happy about all this situation. He used holotransmision to MC-90 Fear commander, Brigadier Darkmage and told him that he has new orders for him...
