It's unfortunate that the third mission is such a nightmare as the rest of the battle is otherwise tight and well put together.

Dark Brotherhood received an information of strange rebel behavior in sector 03.55.003 Some of Rebel starships were avoiding combat with our troops which is most unlikely. One of our top analysts characterised that behavior as "like they protecting something important near". Some members of Anger Caste were near this sector on VSD Beograd, and headed there to resolve the mistery. One of our cargo carrying craft is under attack near that point, and we're headed there to help, as this point is at treshold of target sector.
