I didn't care for this battle. Using two ship patches but making the player wait until Missions 4 and 5 to actually use them is the equivalent of forcing a player to eat their veggies before having any dessert. Lots of bugs, cap ships with starfighter orders, multiple missions where player will be forced to laser down cap ships, one mission with a goal requiring 50% of player's flight to survive and to destroy all starfighter waves of a flight that WILL hyperspace out if the player isn't careful... and then the missions that do make use of the patches are organized in a way (particularly the last one) where the player doesn't really get to enjoy the true potential of the craft.

There's enough competent design here to keep me from going lower, but it absolutely was not to my tastes at all.

My third battle in the TIE Corps.

Serviceable plot with a reasonable level of challenge and fun final mission flying the TIE Dragon, unfortunately the fourth mission is bogged down by tedium.

pretty good set of db missions, i like the story for what it was and the tie dragon is always a pleasure to fly. the sheer amount of damage you can do with it is insane and id love to see more of that ship in future battles. would fly again

I don't know about anyone else, but this battle was fun. Lots of blowing up stuff, but not so much that it was like all the other battles. The patches allowed me to play some awsome ships. A salute to whoever made those patches.

M1: There's a soft lock if the container transports are disabled. That's not inherently a bug, but there is a transport that's supposed to arrive and help... but it'll never arrive. It has the FRTs and the FRG set as the mothership, but it's condition of arrival is for 100% IFF Rebel to be destroyed - by the time that happens, the other ships will be long gone.

M2: After the R&D facility is captured, if the capture transport is destroyed, its second wave will capture the R&D facility again. There's also a T/F that is intended to be friendly but shows up as hostile

M3: The Rebel CRS and Rebel PLT will engage each other without much prodding (as soon as one accidently hits the other). A Rebel container is also set as the player's mothership.

M5: Enemy T/D crashes as soon as battle begins.

Installation instructions
1] Make sure you have the EH Ship Patch for TIE installed
2] Download the patches from the EH Patch archive (http://tc.emperorshammer.org/patcharchive.php)
3] Install the patches by double clicking it in the EHSP installer
4] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle.
5] Check the Misc folder in your TIE one for additional material like patches, sounds etc.
6] Press the TIE Fighter button to start TIE and fly the battle.

Mission 1:

 The SG had been losing an 
unusual amount of shipping
convoys in the last month.  
We of the Dark Brotherhood
are concerned that the Rebels
may have a new weapon, or
that the convoys are not really
being captured. As part of 
Operation Darkstar, you have 
been transfered to the SG as 
a pilot for the Shadow Clan. 
You mission is to make sure 
that your convoy reaches the 
trade summit on Dartibek. 

Mission 2

 We have found the base of the 
Rebel spy ring which has been
feeding the Rebelion information
which has caused the loss of 
many of our covoys.
 We want ot capture the master
of this ring for questioning. We 
have captured and killed a known 
informant and one of our agents
will be taking his place. The
target is aboard the E/S 
Pay Day.  ATR Hijak will have 
approx. one minute to dock 
and sabotage the shuttle before 
they discover the truth.
  Shortly after that, the VSD
Wyvern will hype in and disable
the base for capture.

Mission 3

The information extracted from
the Rebel spies in the last mission 
included the location  of the 
base that has been launching
attacks against our supply 
convoys.  Your mission
is to destroy every Rebel ship
in the area.  TAKE NO 

Mission 4

We have confirmed, through
interrogation of the prisoners
and information gathered by
our spies, that the Rebelion
has indeed learned to use 
the Force to pull a ship out of 
  This cannot be allowed to 
continue!  If we do not stop
the Rebelion, they will starve
us to death.
  Your mission is to enter
Rebel space, and destroy
their training grounds.

Mission 5

  We have traced the CORT
Satomi to a Rebel task force
apparently made up of fully
trained Jedi.
  This, of course, poses a 
great threat to the opperation
of the Emperor's Hammer.  
The SSD Avenger has arrived,
along with several supporting
cruisers, to deal with these
  Our forces had already 
commited themselves to this
battle when the Rebel commander
launched several flights of T/Ds.
  Due to supply problems that you
are familiar with, we are not able
