With more than 30 bugs, major gameplay issues, lack of enough warheads for the missions, continually putting goals 30km away from the player and 60km apart from each other and very long mission times make this a painful battle.

Ended up playing on easy with cheats. I was playing normally in mission 1, and I am not a great pilot. Several minutes into my first attempt my game crashed, not the battles fault. I tried again and successfully held off the attack on the ISD. But that essentially fails the mission without failing it, which is my largest pet peeve in missions. Yes, I could take on my own ISD and whittle its hull down to complete the mission, but I shouldn't have to. Turned on cheats and just went through the battle. After mission 1 no difficult goals. Story was good.

On the first mission, I had to damage the ISD myself to make the Mon Cal show up. The text could use a once-over with editing.

Played on easy*. I played the first mission on medium but dropped it down to easy to just finish the battle quicker, but likely could have managed on medium with enough tries. I really enjoyed the battle and its story. All around fun to fly.

Surprisingly good.
First mission was a little iffy, but the story and missions are pretty good.
The creator clearly likes his long distances but its manageable.
Worth flying.

I loved the last two missions. Any time I can fly a Missile Boat loaded for bear and go hunting big dumb ships, I'm a happy camper. Don't love the fly 30km to inspect a CRS that one mission included, but I suppose the tradeoffs are worth it. At least it was on TIE where I had the time modifier.

I usally don't rate battles but this one is real good cause it is actually "Hard" on "Hard". Two thumbs up!

Mission 1: Tie Fighter Omega has missiles but targets the Modified Corvettes instead of fighters. T-Wing Green will sometimes attack the ISD instead of fighters and crash into it like B-Wing Gold does. R-41 group Brown will sometimes destroy members of their own FG when firing advanced missiles due to the formation chosen.
Mission 2: Nebulon B Frigate Black Wind has hold steady orders but it keeps moving and shooting at targets in spite of this.
Mission 3: CRL Simon has hold steady orders but it does not hold steady. R-41group Rex never arrives due to having the incorrect arrival trigger (AND none (FALSE) instead of always (TRUE). Transport Escape has no orders and holds steady in the CRL Simon's hangar. A-Wing group Brown will often destroy members of their own FG when firing advanced missiles due to the formation chosen. Once A-Wing group Brown is 100% destroyed Frigate Rolf heads to hyperspace and will no longer shoot at the player.
Mission 4: Tie Bomber group Delta has no mothership to return to as M/FRG Sea Wolf leaves immediately after destroying the freighters. Assault Gunboat group PSI will occasionally crash into Modular Conveyor Lion when disabling it due to having low AI.

Mission #1: Assassins spelled incorrectly. T/A Delta will never arrive because their reinforcement condition is that 100% of Frigate Black Wind must be reinforced. T/A Alpha 2 will sometimes crash into ISD Red Wind due to coming out of hyperspace so close to it initially. R-41 Brown and A-Wing Falcon AI set too low for the warheads they are using. This means that they will shoot Advanced Concussion Missiles without acquiring a full (Red) target lock and can fire it at any point in the lock, and the missile will be just as accurate as if it was fired by a full lock. This means that any attacking craft with advanced missiles can shoot them at the player at any time. Modified Corvette group Droids has starfighter orders. B-Wing group Gold will crash into the Red Wind when attacking it due to their AI being too low. ATR group Assassins has a cargo of heavy rockets but will attack T/A Alpha instead of ISD Red Wind. ISD Red Wind0 appears in the ATR's attack orders but no such ship exists. CRS Maria arrival condition requires ISD Red Wind to be destroyed but the Red Wind can easily be saved.
Mission 2: Escort shuttle group Rebel Escape arrival condition of 100% of Cruiser Maria must finish docking is impossible to be met as it has no docking orders. T/A Alpha withdrawal condition of 100% of Cruiser Maria must be disabled means that sometimes they will destroy the cruiser before the player has a chance to disable it. Commander spelled incorrectly.
Mission 3: Frigate Rolf has starfighter orders. This results in a bizarre bug; if you destroy the frigates' warhead launcher, it will still fire warheads at the player despite having no way to do so. Modified Frigate Max hyperspace exit vector intersects with the Factory/1 Droid, causing it to damage/destroy the factory, depending on it's condition, when it exits hyperspace. ETR group Alderaan has a duplicate set of SS Go Home orders. Shuttle group Hazel has Go Home orders then SS Go Home orders, when only one go home order is possible to be issued.
Mission 4: Modified Frigate Sea Wolf has starfighter orders. T/B Delta will frequently crash into the freighters they are attacking. Freighter group Hal does not have any go home orders. A-Wing group Sand has escort orders but will attack the player before they attack the passenger liner (whey they are ~5.5km away).

In Mission #1, a mission critical craft will not appear until only 50% ISD Red Wind's hull remains. You can absolutely prevent this from occurring with skillful flying, particular because one of the key craft ordered to attack the ISD have equal orders to engage the player's craft.
While there's no ideal scenario for this kind of condition, switching the ATR's orders to only focus on the ISD should great diminish this possibility of this soft lock occuring
