Played on easy with cheats. Quick battle for quick points. Straightforward goals.

The 2nd mission was extremely frustrating. You basically need to drop the Police ships as fast as possible before they wreck everything. The other missions were ok. Basically the mission briefings were nearly worthless, just go in and kill everything. Except for mission 5 where you need to use your ion cannons to disable the platform.

The missions were rather quick, mostly enjoyable. Very little, if any, information given during briefings. Almost as if there was a very quick time limit in creating the missions. They do not flow on together following any sort of story line, but that is okay. Each mission seemed to be created by a different party. Found a small bug in mission #5, but not game breaking. Overall = An average time.

Overall, from what I understood these are various 'FG Hammer' missions. So, there is no expectation the stories are linked other than
the FG Hammer being the centerpiece behind each mission. So no issue there.
Mission 1: 2/5 Nothing special, a bit disjointed
Mission 2: 1/5 You know how some movies are sometimes so horrible they become cult classics? Well this mission is horrible,
but it is so horrible that it runs no risk of ever becoming a cult classic. Where do I begin? The flightpaths, the objectives, the mission design?
Horrible. And it is also obvious the mission designer didnt thoroughly test it.
Mission 3: 3/5 Now we are getting somewhere. A bit better, more robust mission design. Better and more interactive with the player.
Mission 4: 4/5 I like it somewhat, especially in the later stages of the mission. And at least you are flying in a T/A which does make you a bit vulnerable,
rather than the typical impregnable T/D. Don't get me wrong, it IS fun to fly in a T/D but make a proper mission around it!
Mission 5: 2/5 The Escort Carriers started firing at each other. Their positioning was off. T/D vs R41s.
Slicing through all those R41s never gets old, but by the end of this mission, I was expecting something more.
Except for Mission #2, everything else is 'ok'. Typical, run of the mill missions.

This battle is easy, easy like...you can almost do nothing and the goals will be completed by themselves. Shout out to my old Relentless pals here though! But it feels like this battle was the result of a competition made by Hammer squadron back in the days; no plot, almost no briefings, and a big destruction fest. Just some pilots making a mission and putting them all together to make a ''battle''. This is the kind of battle you fly when you feel lazy but still looking for some kind of accomplishment so your day isn't wasted totally.

I'm not really sure what I have just played here... This is more of a collection of unrelated scenarios rather than a battle. Perhaps a series of training sorties?
The missions themselves all typically consist of shooting down Z-95s or R-41s in a TIE Defender or Advanced, making each mission more of a duck shoot than a mission with any real objective. Each mission is painfully easy, to the point where I just had to double check that I did indeed play them all on hard difficulty.
The mission briefings are of a low quality and serve more as credits to the mission maker(s), though the officer reports do help a little with understanding what is expected of you.
The officer debriefings are comically short and serve no purpose.
The final mission has capital ships clipping and spelling mistakes.
If you like shooting old Rebel ships while flying in an over-powered Imperial fighter, then this is a battle for you. Otherwise this is one to avoid.

More like 5 free missions bundled together. No bugs. No critical missions making mistakes. But the briefings are too simple as well as the missions.

A nice little battle. Briefing maps are pretty sparse, but officer questions make up for it. Each mission kind of follows it's own plotline (since the battle has multiple creators), so this seems more like a collection of Free Missions. Despite that, I enjoyed this battle due to the often devious nature of the mission assignments ... now THIS is the type of stuff we all joined the Empire to do!

In Mission #5 two of the Escort Carriers merged and become stuck together.

Emperor's Hammer Battle 97: Hammer's Week Medal for completing this battle: Iron Warhammer Welcome to ISD Relentless, pilot ! I am BG Undo, commander of Hammer Squadron. We are a special operations squadron and in the days ahead you'll fly assassination, kidnapping and other missions. Good hunting ! Mission 1: Backstab Our spy in Bothan command staff (from battle 89) reports a high-level meeting between Bothans and Rebels. The Bothan leader has given us much trouble and we want to remove him. When you arrive, the Bothan shuttle will be already at the meeting place. It has a light escort, but the mothership will launch more fighters immediately. INT Harpax II will delay the arrival of the Rebel cruiser for about 4 minutes. Flight Groups 1 and 3 have been assigned for this mission. You'll fly in Flight Group 1. You must identify the Bothan leader's shuttle and destroy it! Flight Group 3 will cover you. Original plotline and mission created by: CMDR/BG Undo/Hammer/ISD Rel {Gallant} [IWATS] [MoT-rh], APPR Mission 2: No Fun The Rebels have a gambling station that is very popular, even among higher Rebel officers. We have information that several of these officers, including some commanders, are visiting this station aboard a Passenger Liner. Your mission is to destroy EVERYTHING in that area. No Rebels may survive and to others it will be a lesson ! They must not have dealings with Rebels. Original plotline and mission created by: FL/BG Josh/Hammer-2-1/ISD Rel [MoT] {Fusilier} Mission 3: Clean It Up Hammer Squad launches a joint attack with the M/FRG Invader against the primary defences of a nearby Rebel world. The attack is meant to soften the Rebel defences for a future attack by another Squadron. Defence forces could include several capital ships and platforms. All major defences are to be destroyed. Original plotline created by: FM/GN Drizzt/Hammer-2-2/ISD Rel [MoT] [ISM] {Lancer} {IWATS-IIC} Mission created by: CMDR/BG Undo/Hammer/ISD Rel {Gallant} [IWATS] [MoT-rh], APPR Mission 4: VIPs Under Fire The M/FRG Invader will recover the Corellian Transport. Protect the spies and the M/FRG. The spies have important information about a possible Rebel assault on the Emperor's Hammer. Expect heavy assault, as their cover was blown while on the world. Original plotline created by: FM/GN Drizzt/Hammer-2-2/ISD Rel [MoT] [ISM] {Lancer} {IWATS-IIC} Mission created by: CMDR/BG Undo/Hammer/ISD Rel {Gallant} [IWATS] [MoT-rh], APPR Mission 5: I didn't do it An elite strike team, formed from four members of Hammer Squadron is to hyperspace to the Moladri Syndicate's headquarters. Chairman Moladri has been aiding the Rebels by supplying them weapons and other supplies. Once you reach his platform, proceed to disable it. When that task is done, a mercenary vessel will dock, capture Moladri, and replace him with an impostor. Cover the vessel's escape. We're using mercenaries because this is a special operations mission that nobody must link to the Empire.
