Ran for RtF with full cheats and on easy. Fast and simple but with some variety, and features Typhoon and at least a decent start of a story.

I enjoyed these missions - they were simple and easy to complete, with clear goals. In Mission 4 though, the cap ship I was helping starting firing at me for some reason, which was weird, so I just kept out of the way. Some longer wait times than needed, but nothing to major. Worth a play through.

Bit of a disjointed mess but its ok to fly.
Can be done fast, but 4x speed is great.
Fly it and move on.

Pretty easy and straightforward, with enjoyable variety. All-around solid.
My fifty-sixth battle in the TIE Corps.

Fast missions - except for one that needs Tx4- that were easy and fun. Last mission requires secondary objectives so pay attention to the briefing. There was very little challenge but this is a good battle if you're just going for quick mission completion.

A very disjointed battle, the missions do not exactly flow into each other in the way one might expect. That said its relatively quick and easy to complete if in need or FCHG points or points for a spam contest. Mission goals in the final mission do take some getting used to as it's not what you'd expect!

Yeah... this one was kind of a mess. The story is very disjointed, and the missions and their results don't really line up with what is supposed to happen, which completely breaks immersion. The logic behind goals in the missions is also pretty perplexing.

It's only really good for spam flying competitions as the missions are fairly quick. They are mostly adapted from the original missions that come with the game. For some reason the last mission only has the Secret Order dude and so you need to the secondary goal instead of the primary.

This mission suffers considerably from a lack of attention to detail and padding out of the missions themselves. In essence, two of the missions are completed simply by turning off the engines and increasing time acceleration to 4x - another mission simply requires an inspection to complete the secret orders. In addition, the briefings and layouts are unhelpful and do not clearly match the battle itself when flown. I would not recommend this battle for anything other than rapid FCHG and I would suggest time remains fixed at 4x.

This was possibly the worst battle I have EVER flown, during my time in the TIE Corps. I can't even count the number of things I thought were wrong, or outright stupid about this battle. Some examples, include the ships that must be boarded, although they cannot be disabled... communications alerting you if deadly Y-Wings, although there are no Y-Wings in the mission AT ALL... and in the last mission, which was quite gorgeous, one of the primary objectives (although you must only complete the secondary objectives to win), is for a platform to be captured... the ISD I launched from, started shooting IT, and ME, and everyone else in the area, as soon as the ATR that was supposed to capture it had launched. Speaking of which, in a mission in which you're escorting transports, a Carrack Cruiser that arrives to receive the four transports, starts shooting you as soon as the second Modular Conveyor starts docking! I wouldn't recommend this battle to ANYONE, except someone who has flown every single battle but this one, or is looking to ruin a perfectly good day. 1/5, since you still get FCHG points for flying it.

Pretty good. Anyone else notice the "Imperial Pilot" flying around without a ship in the last mission? >:P

The first mission has two flaws (one can't really call them bugs, but they're still annoying): There are two incompletable bonus goals (resulting from a craft that must be boarded but can't be disabled) and a missile counter overflow. Apart from that, the battle was good, but surely too easy for people who don't fly for points.

A fine plotline and not AS good but still very enjoyable battles and: NO BUGS ! :) However, I thought a CAB ought to have more missions :)

This is a good, tight battle that is of interest to anyone wanting to know something about the 'history' of the EH. Some of the briefings are a tad thin, but that's to be expected in the early battles. A good fly!

Although missions are simple converisons form orginal T/F missions CAB is v.OK with good plot and right number of imperial forces, so you don't have to act as "one man army" :P

Overall, a bit easy to fly, but a serious handicap exists without proper pre and post mission briefings as well as a briefing map for all of the missions

Secure the Phare System by FC/GA Ronin/CS-1/SSD Avr (GARonin@aol.com) The following Battle Plotline is posted by the Fleet Commander: General Background Following the capture of the Loki Military Complex a month ago, the Fleet Commander has first ordered the complete destruction of any opposing Imperial and/or Rebel forces remaining in the Phare System. Considering the apparent warlord mentality of the remaining Imperial officers in Phare and their subsequent refusal to accept the Emperor's Hammer as a duly appointed Fleet of the Emperor, complete and total destruction is warranted. The first targets will be the remaining Imperial capital ships and fighters at each of the three primary inhabited planets Ullyr, Frigg and Sif. These will typically include older corvettes, converted commercial craft (i.e. luxury liners, shuttles, transports, etc.). It is anticipated that older starfighter classes such as the TIE Fighter and TIE Bomber will be protecting these ships. In addition, various older hostile corporate and civilian fighter craft (i.e. Z-95s, T-41s and R-41 Starchasers) can be expected to be present. Since these Imperials have essentially been isolated from the main supply routes of the Empire, their ships and technology are not up to current Imperial standards. The Fleet Commander expects this Combined Arms Battle to represent more of an "occupation" than hard pitched battle. However, each TIE Pilot is warned that isolated, heavily armed pockets of resistance may remain... EH Mission 1 - The Saraii (Sif) The Saraii, an ancient and noble race, from which it is suspected that Grand Admiral Thrawn originated, have few defense resources remaining at their disposal. In orbit above Sif are several Platforms that serve as waypoints and trading centers for the many agricultural products produced on Sif. It is anticipated that the these platforms will be moderately guarded by the Sif Civilian Defense Forces and Imperial Corvettes and TIEs. The M/CRV Phantom has identified the CRV Phantasia, and 3 converted Corporate Sector Authority (CSA) Star Galleons in orbit above Sif. Once the orbiting forces are annhilated, the Saraii should soon see the wisdom of swearing fealty the the Emperor's Hammer... EH Mission 2 - Dangerous Luxuries (Frigg) Frigg, a hardly known but intriguing luxury aquatic world will be a valuable prize for the Hammer. Not only will this planet serve as a recreation planet for our troops, but the "living" nature of this thriving, aquatic world will appeal to many Dark Jedi on Sabbatical. Currently, only a few TIE squadrons and several aging assault transports protect the spaceport on Frigg. This should be an easy prize... EH Mission 3 - Wookies Enslaved (Ullyr) It is estimated by the Imperial Survey Corps that approximately 5,000 Imperial military and Citizens were stranded on Ullyr 5 months ago when most of the System Fleet and the Phare Governor left. These humans have apparently assembled in small isolated bands throughout the forested world. Recent Imperial Security Bureau and Scout Corps surveys have identified the locations of approximately 2,000 of these Imperials. Not only are they in dire need of emergency relief supplies, but they stand the danger of being captured and killed by the Wookies now in control of the planet's surface. The Fleet Commander has decided that this Wookie presence shall be quelled and be bonded to once again serve the Empire as befits their non-sentient status. With the thousands of Imperials bound to enter the system following its conquest by the Hammer, housing and new construction will be required and the native hardwoods of Ullyr are prized throughout the Outer Rim. This mission will center on holding control of the orbits above Ullyr. The M/CRV Phantom identifed the potential presence of several B-Wing construction facilities planetside. Consequently, garrison forces assigned to this planet will initially find some Rebel resistance. It is to be dealt with swiftly...No Wookie B-Wings can escape...! EH Mission 4 - Rescue Scout Survey Team (Thor) This mission centers on your adequate defense of several transports and shuttles ferrying a large 500 member scout transport and shuttles from the planet to the TFC Roxanna waiting in orbit with a Hospital Module attached. Apparently, the Scout Corps Survey Team met up with a particularly hungry band of Grenfels on Thor. Based on initial reports, the one platoon of 40 fully-equipped Stormtroopers standing guard over the Survey Team held off several hundred of the behemoths before they broke into the Imperial encampments and killed an estimated 75 scientists. The whereabouts of the scientists is unknown, but they have already been presumed dead, as the Grenfels captures its prey for only one reason...Food... As the Transports and Shuttles attempt to dock with the TFC Roxanna for medical aid. Several TIEs and Civilian fighters enter the area. Your job will be to keep these transports safe. They must not be destroyed. DB Mission 1 - Haven (Hela) On Hela, a mercury-like world in the closest orbit to Odin, also contains some of the richest mining operations in the Phare System. Haven, the masive mining complex planetside, is run and managed by a conglomeration of small, insignificant corporations that have banded together to oppose the Hammer. Several of the most experienced and elite TIE fighter pilots in Tau Squadron will be used to lay waste to the Corporate corvettes and T-41s in orbit above Hela...However, any Platforms or containers MUST NOT be destroyed as they represent vital materiel supplies for our Fleet. The capture of this planet and its supplies intact is one of the most important missions of this CAB.
