Easy 5. Amazing story that builds on XWA-DB 1 marvelously. The backdrops are great (for vanilla XWA) and the mission layout was awesome. One tip, on the last mission if you are having trouble at the start, it might be best to play on Medium.

Well built, good story.
Nothing to really complain about except its not particularly exciting.
Story is well done and base is good too.

Well crafted storyline followed by also well structured missions. Last mission showdown was a bit disappointing for the too crowded opposition the player has to face. Howeve this does not decrease one bit the high quality of the whole battle. A must to play in the DB order.

Overall nice. I just wasn't able to kill off 5 T/As but that's just me probably :)

Hmmm. Interesting plotline, though I'd've preferred a 6-mission battle instead of a trunkated one. Not a fan of so many scripting events either- it took four or five attempts of each mission to get them to load properly.

Just to clear things out: I had to use "many" invulnerable craft because there was a plotline to follow, I think that using a invulnerable craft is better than see a destroyed cap ship/platform re-appear in the next mission As for the rebels thingy, read the debriefing of last mission. Also, things will become clearer in my upcoming XWA-DB battle :p

This was good battle, although: I have never heard the Rebel Alliance or The New Republic, have been ever cooperating with Dark Jedi Master (last mission). C'mon!

This battle is incredible! A well-thought out, compelling storyline coupled with truly masterful missions, not to mention the classiest briefings I've seen in a long time. Wow, Gidda, we're not worthy!!

In mission 3, there's an inflight msg saying the Razors are attacking the Darkblood. It has the wrong condition, it showed for me after the razors were long gone. (change from "darkblood attacked" to "20 secs after razor arrive")

*NOTE* The events described in this battle take place 1 week after the end of "DB-XWA1: The Forgotten Planet". - The Hidden Menace - The Escort Shuttle was approaching the SSD Avenger in high orbit above Eos, the capital world of the Dark Brotherhood. Dark Adept Tharmak was sitting alone in the passenger’s cabin, his hands folded over his knees and his large black cloak lowered on his shoulders. He was a tall and strong 50 year-old human with long gray hair and icy-blue eyes, with a small and tight mouth surrounded by a tiny gray beard. Tharmak was gazing at the coffer beside his legs. That coffer contained the three Huukalian Artifacts that the Brotherhood recovered during the Battle of Ultima Star. Those mystical objects would have resembled some odd ancient relicts to a foolish person, but for any Jedi they were a clear source of a powerful dark energy. Tharmak not only was a respected member of the Dark Council but was also an expert scholar of the Sith lore. That’s why the Grand Master ordered him to go on board the ISD Subjugator and overlook at the operations in the Ultima Star system. And that’s why now he had received the honor to escort the three artifacts to the Dark Hall on Eos and to start preliminary studies on them. Suddenly the shuttle shook slightly as one of the Avenger’s tractor beams began to guide the small transport inside the hangar bay. A few seconds later the shuttle landed and the access ramp opened with the typical whistle and puffs of vapor. Tharmak descended the ramp. Two Dark Jedi were already awaiting him. The first was Sith Warrior Garruus, who had been a disciple of Tharmak and fought at the side of his Master in many battles. The other was a young member of the Order of the Krath. Garruus smiled, "Master Tharmak, it's a pleasure to have you aboard." "This is no time for small talk, Warrior Garruus. Did you prepare everything I requested for the study of the Sith artifacts?" Garruus nodded. "Yes sir, I have followed your instructions and everything is ready. I have also prepared a section of the Senior Officers deck for you. No one will disturb us during the ritual." Garruss indicated the Dark Jedi at his side. "This is the historian you requested. He is Krath Priest T'hann." T'hann bowed and Garruus continued. "Even though he’s young, T'hann is already a profound expert of the history of Dark Side talismans." Tharmak gave a quick look at the young Krath. "Very well. We'll start immediately. The Grand Master is impatient about the results of our research." "Yes Master. If you follow me, I'll escort you to your personal cabin." Tharmak pressed some buttons on his right bracer and a small droid descended the ramp of the shuttle carrying the coffer with the artifacts. The Dark Adept nodded and Garruus set out for the hangar control room. The hangar was full of technicians, pilots, stormtroopers and droids, but no one seemed to pay attention at the three cloaked figures; the Avenger was the Dark Brotherhood's flagship so the crew and officers were used to see Dark Jedi aboard. In fact, many Imperial Officers serving on that ship were members of the Dark Brotherhood as well. And finally, it wasn't such a bright idea to question a Dark Jedi. After exiting the main hangar, Tharmak, his assistants and the droid went up in a turbolift to Deck 121. From there they used a reserved turbolift to reach sector A-34 of the Senior Officers deck. Many Stormtroopers patrolled the whole sector. They walked down a small corridor for a while, then Garruss stopped in front of a door, guarded by two Stormtroopers. He spoke to one of them, a Lieutenant, "Master Tharmak has arrived. You and your troops can leave this sector now." "Yes sir!" answered the Stormtrooper, "Unit 58, report in... we return to Deck 121" The Stormtroopers saluted and quickly moved to the turbolift. Garruus placed his right hand over a black panel on the wall and the door opened. Tharmak, Garrus and T'hann entered with the droid following them. The room was large and only partially illuminated. In the center of the room there was a long black table, and three seats had been positioned around it. Tharmak turned towards the droid. "Place the coffer on the floor near the table, there." The droid executed the command without saying a word or making a noise. Tharmak pressed another button on his bracer and the droid suddenly shut down. Tharmak inserted a secret code in the security lock of the coffer, and the top panel of the coffer opened revealing the three Huukalian Artifacts inside. He carefully gathered up the mystical objects and put them on the large table. Garrus and T'hann stared at the artifacts: the Sword of Power, the Shield of Defense and the Tome of Knowledge. Tharmak leaned both hands on the table and looked at those awesome symbols of the Dark Side of the Force. He took a breath and closed the eyes to obtain maximum concentration. After a while he perceived a voice in his mind. "Free me, now!" Tharmak, even if surprised, tried not to be overwhelmed by his feelings, and he used telepathy to obtain a contact with the "voice". "Who are you?" asked Tharmak, using his telepathic powers. After some seconds the mysterious "voice" spoke again. "You know who I am. Free me now and I'll grant you my powers." Garruus and T'hann noticed that drops of sweat were sliding down on Tharmak's forehead and that his hands were trembling slightly. "Master," Garruus carefully asked, "Is there anything wrong?" Tharmak opened his eyes and gave a severe gaze to his assistants, making them bow their heads. Then he looked at the artifacts again. "No, no problem at all," said Tharmak. "I'm just really impressed by the awesome energy surrounding these objects." Garrus nodded. "Yes, I already analyzed some ancient Sith talismans in the past, but this is the first time I can feel such a powerful dark energy coming from magical objects." T'hann timidly raised his head and turned toward Tharmak. "I think they contain pure Sith energy. The Grand Master will be glad; these artifacts will grant him untold powers!" Tharmak smiled. "You are correct ...untold powers.
