I really like this one (and I'm not just saying that as a current Typhoon member who greatly appreciates a battle with Typhoon and the rest of the squadrons of Wing X). The plot is terrific - well above what you typically see in the compendium. There's certainly a few areas where it could be better technically, but nothing that impairs it from being an enjoyable one to fly. Definitely worth flying!

I played on Easy with cheats. This is a very quick battle if you play it like this. I can't speak to what this battle would look like if you played on higher difficulty levels, but there seems to be enough secondary objectives to make it interesting.

I actually rather enjoyed this one. It had some good story stuff behind it and I liked the fact that it involved a meeting between leaders that came under attack. The fight with the TIE Defenders and TIE Advanced was also really good.

Not a brilliant battle, as mentioned by a few reviews the plot is a bit on the light side and features multiple typos. The final mission can be frustrating, but with reinforcements called can be completed easily.

This was a rare battle where my frustration with it prevented full completion. The first missions were readily completed, with mission 1 requiring no involvement and mission 2 rapid as long as the AW are killed off. Mission 3 was fairly bland but rapid despite a short wait, however mission 4 caused me consistent issues on medium or high difficulty due to the insistence on massed superfighters. A better pilot would likely enjoy the challenge, but it added little to the already fairly lightweight plot.

It was interesting, but the many typos and such kept it from being realistic. The dogfighting was okay, but I wish the plot had flowed better. Average, I suppose.

I liked this one. It had a good balance between Story & Action, it was not easy or hard, which are 4 very hard things to accomplish when designing battle. Very Nice!!

The missions were good and the story was intresting enough to keep going, lots of rebals to anihalate. The difficulty level was moderately hard. Good idea making it a to be continued.

I think that it was a pretty good battle... nothing like TIE 85 where it's like 'shoot a Wing of rebel's and go home'. Pretty funny with Jerec as a GA and the bad guy :P

Title: A Question of Loyalty Number of missions: 4 Medal for this battle: Medal of Loyalty Game platform: TIE Fighter Author: CMDR/COL Callista/Typhoon/Wing X/ISD Challenge email: callista@sonnet.de Mission 1: Make some friends today! The communications officer of the ISD Challenge has picked up a strange distress code from a ship in the Coih sector. It looks like an Imperial Code, but no EH ships are supposed to be there at the moment. WC Darklord decides to have a patrol sent there, composed of a flight of T/Ds, MIS and T/As. They will find out who sent the distress code and why and take action if necessary. The ISD Challenge will hyper into the system later, when the biggest part of any possible enemy fighter danger is cleared. Find the sender of the seemingly Imperial distress call and do what you think is necessary. You must decide whether to take action or not, depending on who and what you are going to find there. Your ship is equipped with a double load of advanced missiles, just in case you will have to use some of them on capital ships. Make sure the Challenge is not threatened by enemy bombers or the like when it hypers in. Mission 2: Have a cup of tea! We found that the Imperials we helped to get out of the Rebel ambush are part of Grand Admiral Jerec's fleet, the so-called Tosye fleet. The Star Destroyer we have saved from certain annihalation is commanded by Admiral Selc, one of the higher officers of the Tosye fleet. He was very impressed with our showing up at Coih, and has requested a private meeting with WC Darklord to voice his thanks. WC Darklord and Admiral Selc will meet in the P'sia sector, not too far from Coih. Their shuttles will dock so Selc can board Darklord's shuttle. They must both be protected, in case the Rebels show up again. You are assigned to escort Darklord's shuttle and protect it from any danger that might appear. Mission 3: Home is where the heart is It has turned out that Admiral Selc has not only met up with Darklord to have a little smalltalk, he has decided to join the EH with his crew and Star Destroyer! Of course, WC Darklord is quite enthusiastic about this and has gone back to Aurora to bring GA Ronin the great news and to prepare Selc's arrival. GA Jerec will certainly not be too happy about this though, so you are sent out to meet up with Selc and his crew and secure their safe journey to Aurora. To make matters worse, Selc has reported a hyperdrive failure on board his Star Destroyer, we assume sabotage. A transport will board the Nirvana to repair the damage, and you will make sure that the Nirvana hypers out heading for Aurora the second the repairs are complete! We must not risk anything! Mission 4: An eye for an eye GA Jerec has found Selc and discovered his plans of defection. Certainly, a spy onboard the Nirvana responsible for this. However, Selc's Star Destroyer has been destroyed and he himself killed in the explosion. Jerec did not attack our forces, he just wanted to punish Selc for his disloyalty. We cannot do anything to bring Selc back to life, but we will avenge him accordingly. We will not tolerate the loss of one of 'our' Star Destroyers! We have located Jerec's Star Destroyer Civilization in the Qoej sector, where it seems to wait for reinforcements. This is our chance to strike while Jerec is vulnerable and without resources! The ISD Challenge will hyper in attacking the Civilization, while you are to destroy any and all Tosye enemy fighters. The ISDs Relentless and Colossus will join the Challenge in its task and finish Jerec off. Make sure you complete your primary goals before Jerec's reinforcements arrive, the Challenge must survive!
