Really nice mission, well-balanced. Straightforward main objectives and then some fun bonus stuff to do afterwards. I enjoyed flying the shielded TIE Bomber! It is probably slightly on the too easy side, but otherwise great!
Simple, straightforward and fairly neat with a dash of humor.
Other than a being stuck in a TIE Bomber, not a bad mission. Good variety of things, dogfights, base defense, inspection, and it worked, so that's always a plus.
An enjoyable mission - some inspection and a dogfight, felt very 'classic Tie Fighter' :)
One pilot to take on the rebel attackers. Eventually you do get reinforcements, but it can get a little hairy at times. Hugging the station helps avoid incoming enemy fire.
A relatively easy and straight forward defensive mission, protecting an Imperial platform from a Rebel task group. Not very difficult, but still enjoyable, and it was interesting to fly a TIE Bomber for a change.
Dogfighting in a shielded T/B was something original. Reminded me of the old DB days. The mission itself is fun to fly, but certainly not the best out there. However, the difficulty is permissive and allows anyone to actually have fun in the old bomber's cockpit while bashing down enemy fighters. An easy 1 point of FCHG for those who need it, and also a nice time while flying the old double brick. Worth a try.
Most of the missions I tried so far, had you flying in a TIE Defender with an awful amount of wingmen and the odds always stacked in your favour. It's a welcome change to fly in a TIE Bomber.
The mission itself overall is ok. I like the humour. :) My only pet peeve is the capital ship at the end has no support. Capital Ships should never end up being alone, or at least to become alone once you had considerable forces to deal with.
A good, enjoyable standalone mission
I found this free mission to be very fun! Even on the hardest difficulty I was able to complete it without the difficulty level being completely absurd. Being in a shielded TIE Bomber is definitely different. You go up against a contingent of Y-wings, X-wings, Z-95s, and some larger craft like assault transports, escort transports, and Carrack cruisers. It is pretty easy to complete the primary mission objectives in a reasonable amount of time – after that, you should concentrate your fire on the fighters (especially the Z-95 Headhunters), as they will quickly become your biggest pain. It helps to know how to manage your squadmates, because it can be a major pain to get blasted at in a TIE Bomber. You are super slow, and need to keep your cannon charge up so you can continuously dump it into your shields, which is faster than charging your shields on their own.
Nice mission without bugs.
Could be 5 if your bomber had a mothership to return to and if there was no humor (i hate humorous missions).
Nice change of pace, flying a T/B. And with no problems, makes for an enjoyable mission.
Humorous briefing. A fun TIE Bomber mission that's not too difficult.
This mission was quiet fun , suddenly you sat in a TB and had some fun . When you are a TB pilot you will enjoy this battle .
