Not a bad set of missions to fly, quite a bit of variety and craft available. Briefings were...well, brief, but you got the idea of what was required in each mission. Really not a fan of flying rebel craft, but that is just personal taste. Didn't encounter any bugs.

Excellent sequel for the previous battle. You will fly almost every fighter in the rebel arsenal, and in well balanced missions. FLying the Y-W is definitely a thing of the past, but is nice to fly. The B-Wing's precise ion cannons will come in handy whenever fending off smaller fighters. A good and must fly battle for the Rionese saga.

Another fun battle with a great plot that continues the story of the previous battle. Not sure I'm a fan of the Y-Wing/Rocket combination for the final mission (though I DO love the Y-Wing), Advanced Proton Torpedoes or a B-Wing (which I hate flying) would've been a more effective choice for base and ship destruction and defending oneself against fighters, I think.

I thought this battle was pretty fun although it did feel a lot like a near carbon copy of the first Rion battle. Recon this, assault, more Rebels are coming so kill them, wait there are more Rebels here so we’re going to kill more, okay now go over here and kill them. The recon mission was a lot likely the recon mission in the first Rion battle – endlessly and uselessly hypering to and from various sectors to inspect craft that I know are not going to pop for the mission objectives. However, any mission that asks me to blow up lots of Rebels is always going to get at least a 3 in my book. Also one thing that broke the realism for me was there a comment about Christmas in the radio chatter. Considering this happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away I don’t think Christianity has left the Earth yet.

Good battle, all the flight groups did what they were supposed to, nothing wrong with it... just nothing spectacular. Good battle tho, i think you could combine all the rion ones into a CAB perhaps

Not bad. I liked the fact that there is a continuing storyline here, against a static enemy. The final battle against the Rion's shipyard was a bit cheesy, but overall, the battle is good!

Good series of varied missions. My only gripe was on the last mission, try as I might the Frigate was always destroyed as soon as I came out of Hyperspace regardless of my actions....

Some missions are not so easy to solve and the hardest mission is the final one . Besides this I really like the idea of fighting the rebels in their own craft . Great battle !

1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle.
2] Check the Misc folder in your XWA for additional material like patches, emails or sounds.
3] In EHBL, create a new "EH Pilot" in the Game Menu (Check "Prepare for EH Battle").
4] Press the X-Wing Alliance button to start XWA and fly the battle.

IW Battle 24 - Seeds of Corruption Rion's Shadow Campaign Tour of Duty #2 ------------------------------ Mission 1 - Where the Hell... Welcome aboard the Warspite, pilot. The second part of the IW operations in the Rion Sector will be lead by the flagship of the IW fleet, and we will operate from the PLT Kapp'arh we captured in the first part of the campaign. Task Force I, lead by the Warspite, and Task Force III, lead by the M/FRG Ka'tal, have reached the sector and are ready for action. In this first mission, you will need to locate an important Rebel depot in the area. This is a primary military objective in the sector, and we will try to seize as much stuff as possible form the Rebels. We can't let them establish such bases and depots in this sector. You will recon three different sectors. Avoid as much as possible to interfere with any civilian ship, and locate the Rebel depot. Report in with your mission's results ASAP. That's all, dismissed. Mission 2 - Takeover The Warspite will lead an assault against the Rebel depot located in the previous mission. Your recon mission has alerted the Rebels, and some reinforcements have arrived. We must strike the depot ASAP; two Calamari cruisers are on their way to the Rebel depot, we must seize as much as possible stuff from the depot before destroying it. Already a Frigate and a Carrack Cruiser have reinforced the Depot's defenses. Task Force One lead by the Warspite will crush any resistance. You will fly in X-Wing White 2. Your flight will be responsible of taking down the starfighters defenses. Shadow Squadron will be engaged too in this operation. Head back to the Warspite once any Rebel threat has been eliminated. Mission 3 - Withdrawal from Depot Our capture operation has taken longer than expected, and we are going to face Rebel reinforcements. Therefore, we will need to annihilate them to keep our cover a little more longer. CRS Glory, CRL Liberty and DREAD Honor have reached our sector, and DREAD Honor is standing between the hyperspace nav buoy and our freighters carrying stolen stuff. In this mission we will have to destroy the dreadnaught and allow our freighters to escape; also, we can't keep our positions in tis sector so the depot will be destroyed. A sabotage team will be send to put explosives and destroy the whole thing. Our reinforcements should arrive soon, then we will able to deal with the Calamari Cruisers. But for now we will have to deal with around 3 entire wings of Rebel fighters. All our forces will focus on the Dreadnaught, then will remain grouped to avoid casualties. May the Dark Side help us. You will fly a B-Wing in Shadow Flight III. Your main objective is the Dreadnaught's destruction. Engage the fighters once the DREAD is destroyed. Dismissed. Mission 4 - Counter-attack Time The last battle has been a tough one but a victorious one. Rebels lost quite all their fighters, and our reinforcements have just arrived; INT Vernichtung will prevent the Rebels to escape, so the Warspite with the help of Frigates Ka'tal and Krayt's Claw can destroy the two remaining Rebel cruisers, which have joined forces together to face us. Our scans reveal that Rebels may have some remaining Y-Wings and Z-95s left. Nothing serious against our armada. You will fly an X-Wing with Black Squadron as a cover for the INT Vernichtung. Good luck, pilot. Mission 5 - Strike at Starport SP-X07 On her way to the Rebel depot, M/FRG Ka'tal located a Rion Starport where two frigates are under reparation. That's a good occasion to hurt the Rion Navy. Incidentally the Ka'tal is the only ship of ours still in good condition, so she will lead the attack. You will fly one of our surviving Y-Wing with Panther flight.
