Run of the mill dogfight/destroy the capital/base mission. Also, the goals give away the entire mission from the start.

Storyline: I actually liked the bit of intrigue and of course, chaos and action came when the admiral wanted to directly assess the situation right in the moment he received it and took the decision to get part of the job done ahead by knocking out the ISD shields; you can do it the hard way or you can do it the smart way ;). Didn't made sense the rebels just shows up and nobody says a word about it when the meeting was meant to be secret...spies? a transponder? traitors? doesn't matter it seems :P Anyways, while I'd argue there's enough information on the briefing given the mission profile, I'd appreciate a bit more of context for immersion. Messages gave just enough to know you were doing what you were expected to do but not much more so here's a deserved point.
Technical: Good use of multiregion, FGs could've been positioned on a more challenging location but that's fine. Timing was a bit off with one of the admiral's messages. No extra tricks or custom ships, etc.
Operational/Tactical/Strategic: adequate level of challenge, ensuring the survival of the critical craft wasn't a problem because enemy FGs will be aiming for you. As mentioned, you have the option to be smart and knock the ISD's shields. Doesn't hurt to keep an eye on the critical craft tho. There was no further need for planning or anything.
Briefing/inflight messages/characters: No commander briefing, need to check a few of the icon tags, and need more text tags for the ISDs. The RA is present there with a few messages so there is a character. No debriefing. No VA. Needs more in-flight messages even if they risk getting lost in the myriad of kill messages.
Overall, it was fun.

A fun mission in a not-so-fun craft...it's basically flying a junk craft against fighters. You get less than ideal munitions, which are basically only useful in the ending stages of the battle. Apart from that, you fight both rebel and imperial craft...which is entertaining, even in the preybird.

Nice, decent and simple mission about protecting a meeting, then an inspection and some dogfighting while sinking a platform. The action was good and well balanced. Not really short, but nothing unbearably long. Worth a try.

The fight is a tale of two extremes. At the first stage, you can barely get a shot in (unless you run ahead of the rest of your fellow fighters). You can literary just enjoy the scenery and the mission will complete itself. In the second stage after your friends overwhelm the opposition, they just hyperspace out, leaving you and a couple of gunboats to bring down the shields of the ISD. On a positive side, the inflight messages do a good job of guiding you through the mission (which is proving to be imperative in XWA). There is some joy in flying as a Pry, as it is not your typical fighter, but the creator should have dared a bit more.

An enjoyable Free Mission that doesn't involve flying one of the TC staples like the T/I or T/D; I really like the Preybird and think more of our 'Hero Squadrons' should have them. Aside from no debrief, which cost it that fifth mark, no issues whatsoever!

I had a flip from hating this one to actually liking it quite a lot. Preybird you get is far from a pleasant craft to pilot especially with a few T/As around you that mop things up. Still a fair story, nicely done technically, good mission.

Well put together mission - The downside is the winning conditions switch primary and secondary [bonus]over and would be fantastic mission.

This one was a lot of fun, and very varied. Like all the best missions, the Primary Goals were relatively simple to accomplish, but it's a bitch to get all the Bonus points. Nice work!

Installation and play instructions ,
1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle.
2] Check the Misc folder in your XWA for additional material like patches, emails or sounds.
3] In EHBL, create a new "EH Pilot" in the Game Menu (Check "Prepare for EH Battle").
4] Press the X-Wing Alliance button to start XWA and fly the battle.
