This was very challenging to work through. I failed mission 3 multiple times for reasons I never understood. I spent a lot of time waiting even with time sped up 4X.

I found this Battle to be a time-consuming challenge. Mission 3 was exceptionally difficult. Everytime the loadout is for a dogfight but the objectives are for taking down capital ships. It is an earlier battle, so I guess it's a bit forgivable.

Pretty fun missions! I may have encountered a bug during mission 4, where the assault transports kept capturing the platform. Not sure if that's intended.

Nice group of missions, which were well designed and had some challenges. The mission design made you think about your targets, and plan, and this was, at times, a challenge. Well worth playing. Some missions, even on easy were challenging. Hint: in Mission 3, take out the cap ships first!

Briefings that don't give you any useful information and some oddities around orders (more than one CRV has starfighter orders) drops this to a very average 3/5

Enjoyable set of missions with a satisfying conclusion. My only major criticism is that in mission 3 (I think) where you have to disable some freighters, the capture ships aren't set mission critical so you get no warning if they are attacked/destroyed and no fail state, leading to some sitting around trying to figure out why the mission isn't progressing.

I played on Medium. This was a decent set of missions. You can tell this was an early, custom TIE mission as the mission briefings are pretty useless. The mission objectives can sometimes be obtuse as well. That said, the missions were decently varied. I laughed at Mission 5 because the objectives are simply to kill a bunch of starfighters and the creator put in a line of dialogue stating 'Leave the capital ships alone, we'll attack them later'. They clearly didn't want you to cheese the level by killing the capital ships. When all is said and done, this mission is decent.

I do not know why, it felt longer then six missions. Might have been do to being sick. One of the missions toward the middle however, the decoys freighters was tedious until I remembered the goal was the Corellian Corvette's not the fighters. Otherwise a fine enough middle range mission.

Yes, excellent battle. Could've used a bit of grammar here and there, some more detail on the briefings but all in all, very fun to blow lots of stuff. On last mission, it could have used a lot of drama and not just letting the frigate be captured just like that after you kill all hostiles but overall, 5/5

Nothing really original, but also nothing very annoying in this battle. BTW. Should you have problems with the shuttles crashing into the SSD, order them to go home (Shift+H).

This one was excellent, almost as good as Lucasarts-missions! However, the few design flaws lower the overall rating. (Some messages come too late, and I think I saw one starship with starfighter orders?)

on mission 4, the assault transports captured the station several times when I'm guessing it was only supposed to happen once.
2020-12-29
On Mission 3, the freighter 'Malcontents' jumps to hyperspace at the start of the mission before you can get in firing range, failing the objective to 'disable all freighters' almost instantly. This behavior was seen on all three difficulty levels.

Battle Plot Proposal by General Adams Battle Name: Pirate Uprising Battle Length: 6 Missions Imperial Forces(for use in the Campaign): ISD Avenger, FRG's Imperator and Ardent Strike Cruiser Warbird, Interdictor Harpax II. Graalin's Forces: VSD Strongheart, Dreadnought Jugger Pirate Forces:Nebulon B Frigate Hawkeye, M/CRV's Splinter 1&2, Carrack Cruiser Valhalla M/FRG Nord, CRV groups Loki, Aesir, Magni. Platform OU-812, Freighter group Malcontents. Plot: Imperial Intelligence claims they have received a distress signal from Governor Tol in Desilvarna Sector. He states that a highly organized Pirate organization is reeking havoc among his commerce convoys. The pirate organization is believed to be backed by the Rebel Alliance, and tons of Imperial supplies and equipment have been stolen. Since this sector is in a non-threat area, his forces consist of a standard Imperial system force, which has been downsized since the rise of the Rebellion. The System Force is currently under the command of Commodore Graalin, his current forces consist of older class Imperial capital ships and starfighters. Commodore Graalin has committed his forces to a defensive roll, All of his capital ships and starfighters have been assigned to guard Governor Tol's commerce convoys and key civilian and military facilities within the sector. It will only be a matter of time before the Pirates overwhelm the Commodores' forces and lose control of the sector. It will also be a major blow to the Imperial Navy, which has vowed to defend every civilian of the Empire from hostile forces, and could promote rebellion among other star systems. Governor Tol has requested the assistance of Lord Darth Vader in eradicating the pirate organization in his Sector. Lord Vader is quite concerned with what has developed in the Desilvarna Sector, But is unable to personally get involved due to the constant threat of the Rebellion in vital areas of the Empire. Lord Vader has informed the Emperor of the current situation and has proposed that a small Task Force lead by the Imperial Star Destroyer Avenger to eradicate the pirate and Rebel influence in the sector. Mission1:Protect the Governor In this mission Governor Tol and Commodore Graalin are enroute to meet with the command staff of the ISD Avenger to coordinate a plan of attack on the pirate organization. Governor Tol and Commodore Graalin's shuttles must be protected from a Pirate attack. Gamma Squadron's Flights I&II will be in charge of protecting the Governor and Commodore's shuttles. Flight III will be available for reinforcements. Ships dedicated for mission1: ISD Avenger, VSD Strongheart(Commodore Graalin's Flagship), Frigate'sImperator and Ardent, Strike Cruiser Warbird, Gamma Flights I&II, Graalin's Flight I&II (TIE fighter escorts), Tyderian Shuttle Dante(Tol), Tyderian Shuttle Omicron(Graalin) Tyderian Shuttle Tremnor(Staff). Gamma flight III(reinforcements). Pirate Ships:Nebulon B Frigate Hawkeye, Modified corvettes Splinter 1&2, Z-95 group Viking R-41 Starchaser group Bones,Y-Wing group Skull(8), Transport group Cross. Mission 2: "Bait" In this mission, the Imperial Forces setup a convoy of old unmanned freighters that are on remote control(slave rigged) through an area where Pirate activity is most common (the pirates have a sensor probe in area that alerts them of approaching ships). The convoy will be used as bait to lure the pirates into an ambush, thus weakening the pirates' forces further. The convoy will be escorted by a flight of Commodore Graalin's Tie Fighter's. Epsilon Squadron's Flights I&II will spearhead this ambush, with Flight III as reinforcements. Ships Dedicated for mission 2:(Graalin) Freighter group Fremantle 1-5, G-Gamma flight I (4) Avenger Task Force: Interdictor Harpax II Pirate Ships: CRV group Loki 1-3, Aesir 1-3, R-41 Starchaser group Malice, Y-Wing group Olon, T-wing group's Matei and Fullback, Z-95 group Zaxxon. Mission 3: "Intercept the Rendezvous" On this mission, we are planning to intercept a cargo shipment exchange between the Pirate's and the Rebels. The pirates are transfering stolen Imperial supplies and equipment to the Rebel cargo convoy, In exchange for credits. Lambda Squadron Flight I&II will be in charge of destroying the Rebel convoy and disabling the Pirate convoy so we can regain what is rightfully ours. Flight III will be available for reinforcements. Ships Dedicated for Mission 3: None, other than Lambda Squadron's Flights I&II Rebel Ships: LT. Delta I will fly to Dymencia System for its patrol area, Delta II will fly to the Makio System For its Patrol and the Grashinmi System will be for Delta III. Once the Fleet is located Delta Squadron will be in charge of weakening the fleets Starfighter defense forces then must Hyperspace out so we can coordinate a plan for its destruction. Alpha Squadron Flights I&III are to clear all remaining fighter defences, once this is done Flight II will be launched to destroy the other capital ships, and after that has been completed the Dreadnought Jugger Will enter the area and launch ATR's to disable the M/FRG Nord. ATR Revenge will be launched to capture the M/FRG.(Note: Alpha flight I will have Mag pulse Torpedoes to partially disable the M/FRG so it will be easier for the ATR's to disable and capture the ship) Ships Dedicated to Mission 6: (Graalin) Dreadnought Jugger, TIE Interceptor Flights I&II ( for added support) ATR group Lowin, ATR Revenge. Pirate Ships: M/FRG Nord, Carrack Cruiser Valhalla, CRV's Magni , A-Wing group Holster R-41 Starchaser Group Grey, T-Wing Group Ditch Note: At the end of mission 6 our fleet will hyperspace in, so all flight groups can return and we can continue on too a new Battle. This concludes the Battle Plot Proposal for "Pirate Uprising". TACT/Adams/Delta-1/T-D
